Sculptra Aesthetic
A Natural-Looking Improvement
If you want to appear more youthful-looking — without appearing like you’ve had work done — then chances are Sculptra may be a good choice for you.
Sculptra Aesthetic Facial Rejuvenation
Developing fine lines, sagging skin and wrinkles is a natural part of the aging process that happens when our body’s levels of collagen and elastin begin to decrease starting in our 20s. As these levels decrease, we lose volume and elasticity in our skin, which results in less taut, sagging, and hallowed skin.
Sculptra Aesthetic is a cutting-edge injectable, non-invasive treatment that combats the natural aging process by regenerating collagen production leading to supple, smooth, and lifted skin. Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that addresses the underlying cause of facial aging, not just the visual signs! This treatment targets stubborn smile lines, marionette lines, chin wrinkles, and facial volume loss, with results appearing gradually and lasting up to two years.

FAQ
What is Sculptra Aesthetic?
Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that replaces lost collagen over time. The treatment is quick, effective, and does not require any downtime like other procedures that yield comparable results.
What areas can Sculptra Aesthetic treat?
Sculptra Aesthetic is used for treating deep facial folds and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. It is also ideal for treating volume loss in the cheeks. Since it begins to work gradually, Sculptra Aesthetic will slowly begin to correct deep folds and wrinkles and will restore facial composition. Sculptra Aesthetic is not suitable for treating areas around the eyes or lips.
What is the Sculptra Aesthetic butt lift?
In addition to rejuvenating facial areas, our team offers Sculptra Aesthetic as a non-surgical buttock lift procedure. The “Sculptra butt lift” entails injecting Sculptra Aesthetic into areas of the buttocks to enhance the overall size and shape. This is especially beneficial for those wanting a fuller buttocks without the downtime associated with butt lift surgery. The amount of Sculptra Aesthetic and number of treatments needed for the non-surgical butt lift will vary based on each patient’s desired outcome.
Who is a candidate for Sculptra Aesthetic?
Sculptra creates long-lasting, natural-looking results for men and women. If you want a more youthful and natural-looking result, Sculptra may be the right option for you. This treatment is also ideal for men and women who are dealing with facial hallowing and volume loss that are typically associated with aging.
How long does Sculptra Aesthetic last?
The results are gradual, with maximum results appearing two years after treatment. After two years, the new collagen layer may last an additional two years. Results vary.
The unique component of Sculptra is that it corrects gradually, providing long-lasting results. You will visually be able to see an improvement post injection but this is primarily due to the sterile water component of the injection. This effect will subside once your facial tissue absorbs the sterile water. It is important to be patient with this process as it can typically take eight weeks before you begin to see true results. Some patients reach their goals after one treatment but the average patient will achieve maximum results after a series of three treatments over a period of a few months. Due to the nature of Sculptra, the results have shown to last up to two years. This treatment is perfect for the discreet patient that desires less immediate, less obvious results.
How does the Sculptra Aesthetic treatment work?
Your Sculptra provider injects the treatment into the dermal plane of the targeted area. The injection contains a synthetic poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) stimulator that addresses the underlying structure of the skin to smooth out fine lines, wrinkles and sagging. The Sculptra injection goes into the dermis where it activates collagen production, repairing your skin’s structure and lost volume
Is Sculptra Aesthetic a filler?
Sculptra is simply a collagen stimulator, not a filler. Unlike other dermal fillers that contain Hyaluronic acid, Sculptra injections do not contain any product that adds volume to the face. Instead, it addresses the underlying cause of lost volume. Sculptra causes a reaction that prompts your body’s natural response to increase new collagen production.
How is Sculptra different from Juvederm and Restylane?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid gel fillers that absorb and hold onto water molecules. They diminish lines and restore volume by pushing up the skin in the areas they are injected. Results are immediate and can last up to a year depending on the specific filler and the area injected.
Sculptra is different because it is a collagen stimulator. The poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) in Sculptra works with your body in the deeper layers of the skin to revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume.
Is Sculptra Aesthetic safe?
This treatment is FDA-approved and considered generally safe. The poly-L-lactic acid injection is biodegradable and is easily broken down and absorbed in the body. Side effects, such as redness, bruising, tenderness, and injection site pain are mild and temporary.
What should I know before my appointment?
During your complimentary consultation, a Sculptra provider reviews your medical history, current skin condition, and aesthetic goals to determine if Sculptra is the best treatment. Your provider can then create a customized treatment plan. Sculptra may require multiple sessions over the course of several months to achieve your goals.
We recommended avoiding medication that may cause bruising or bleeding, including Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Advil. We also advise not drinking alcohol 24 hours before your appointment as this may cause increased bruising and swelling as well.
What should I know after my appointment?
This treatment is non-invasive and does not require downtime so you can go back to your normal daily activities afterward. Arnica may be used post-treatment to decrease bruising.
