Caring for aging skin isn’t exclusive to your face.

The skin on your neck also shows signs of aging caused by sun damage, environmental factors, & unhealthy lifestyle habits.

Benefits of nonsurgical neck lift

Surgical neck lifts are the gold standard for removing excess skin, tightening loose skin, and reducing the platysmal bands (or “cords”) on the neck.  But there are many people want to change the appearance of their skin without going under the knife. Nonsurgical, minimally invasive procedures aren’t as dramatic as surgical treatments. However, they can help improve skin tone and texture, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and neck folds, and give the contour of your neck a more youthful look.

A few of the other benefits of nonsurgical cosmetic treatments over surgical procedures include:

  • Quicker recovery time.

Recovery times for many nonsurgical neck lift procedures range from just a few hours to a few days. Side effects are generally minimal, and include redness, irritation, swelling, tenderness, and soreness at an injection site.

  • Less expensive.

A surgical neck lift averages $5,100. Nonsurgical procedures, on the other hand, range from $200 to $2,000, depending on the treatment.

  • Shorter procedure.

In general, most nonsurgical procedures take 30 to 90 minutes, compared with surgical procedures that can take several hours.

  • Fewer risks overall.

Since general anesthesia and large incisions aren’t required for nonsurgical procedures, there’s a reduced risk to your health.

Four types of nonsurgical neck treatments:

1. Injectable Neuromodulators - Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®

The term “Nefertiti Lift” derives from the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti famous for her beauty and her long neck. With aging, loss of subcutaneous fat and muscle tone around the jawline and the neck results with sagging skin and gives the appearance of “Turkey Neck”. When platysma muscle is contracted (covers anterior and lateral parts of the neck), it creates vertical bands which can become more prominent with time. The platysma muscle can be injected with small and superficial doses of Botox® along the visible platysmal bands and beneath the jawline. This softens the appearance of the platysmal bands and slightly lifts the jawline skin up resulting in a subtle non surgical facelift.

This treatment is not suitable for individuals with skin laxity or excess localized fat in the neck.

Botox® is nearly painless, requires minimal-to-no downtime, and takes minimal time to complete. To maintain results, you’ll need to go in for a treatment every 3 to 4 months.

2. Injectable Dermal Filler

Injectable dermal fillers like Radiesse® may help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and restore lost volume to the skin on your neck.

3. MORPHEUS8 RF Microneedling

Combining microneedling with powerful radiofrequency (RF) energy, Morpheus8 is the most advanced, deeply penetrating microneedling treatment in the industry. It goes deep within to remodel tissue and dramatically improve the texture and tone of skin. With Morpheus8 RF, smoothing rough texture, tightening lax skin and trimming small fat pockets are all achievable with minimal downtime. It helps improve the appearance of acne scars, lines and wrinkles, crepey neck skin (yes, that dreaded turkey neck), sagging chin, uneven tone and more. For optimal results, we recommend a series of three to four treatments, administered over the course of several months. Results last 3 -5 years with annual maintenance of 1 treatment per year.

4. PDO thread lift

The Nonsurgical Neck Lift procedure is also known as the instant facelift, PDO thread lift, lunchtime facelift or mini facelift. It is a safe, natural, non-surgical procedure that corrects the loose and sagging skin and wrinkles that occur with aging and weight loss.

The procedure does not involve any cutting or incisions to lift the loose skin, instead, it employs absorbable PDO sutures that are weaved beneath the skin to mesh or lift and smooth it leaving natural results. The PDO sutures will be naturally absorbed by your body and replaced by collagen and elastin.

Enjoy a youthfully reshaped face for up to two years with good skin care.
